At the centre of our not-for-profit programme is the Art Dubai Commission, a platform that invites artists to produce site-specific works, further enhancing the cultural landscape and supporting artistic production by local and international artists. The programme has been running since 2010. Each year the programme changes in format according to the commissioned artist and overall fair plan.

The Dubai Collection will be presented at Art Dubai 2023 through a Modern and Collector Talks programme created in partnership with the fair. The programme includes a series of conversations with collectors who play key roles in driving the development of art scenes across the Global South and beyond, as well as discussions providing an overview of modern art in the territories of North Africa, Middle East and South Asia. A dedicated section will also feature footage from its first exhibition When Images Speak - Highlights from the Dubai Collection as well as information on artworks, patrons and artists featured in the collection.

Dubai Public Art is a new multi-year government-led initiative for the emirate of Dubai aimed at promoting commissions and installations for the public realm, funded and supported by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (DCAA). The selection process and production for this first commission will be managed in partnership with Art Dubai.

Campus Art Dubai (CAD) is a core part of Art Dubai’s extensive year-round programming which provides artists and members of the creative community with educational and professional opportunities. CAD was the first programme of its kind in the region and has continuously developed and reinvented itself over its past nine iterations.

The A.R.M. Holding Children’s Programme brings together artists and designers to closely collaborate with local schools through bespoke workshops. The programme provides UAE based school children with opportunities to grow and develop their interest and understanding of the arts by interacting with a roster of international artists and familiarising them with a wide range of art and design practices.

The 16th edition of Art Dubai, the Middle East’s leading international art fair, is hosting an after-party celebration, with the highlight being an array of live music performances. Every night from Thursday 2nd until Saturday 4th March, 9 pm to 2 am at the Art Bar on Madinat Jumeirah’s Fort Island, the event promises an entertaining evening as guests can explore the region’s multicultural influence while dancing along to international beats and tunes!
