Grosvenor Gallery was founded in London in 1960 by the American sociologist and writer Eric Estoric.  During the 1960s and 70s the Gallery exhibited some of the major European artists of the time – some for the first time in London – such as Magritte, Picasso, Sironi, Chagall, Lissitzky and Archipenko.  Today Grosvenor Gallery primarily deals with Modern and Contemporary Indian art, with a focus on material by artists from the Bombay Progressive Artist’s Group.
