x-ist is one of Turkey’s leading art galleries, founded with the aim of supporting young contemporary artists who produce with universal ideas and mentoring them throughout their careers.

Participating regularly in prominant art fairs in Turkey and abroad and collaborating with international institutions, the gallery carries on its work in a multifaceted way with the aim of strengthening the careers and expanding the boundaries of the artists represented by it.

Having moved to Karaköy from its address in Nisantasi 14 years after its foundation, x-ist continues to be one of the strong actors of the contemporary art world together with the galleries having a similar understanding with which it has been also in cooperation before.
