SANATORIUM was initiated in 2009 by eight artists; serving as an exhibition space for their work. The exhibitions evolved over time to include other local and foreign artists; until the decision was made to establish a full-fledged art gallery in 2011. The gallery’s diverse portfolio includes both emerging and established artists from both the regional and international art scenes. SANATORIUM strives to enrich the Turkish art sector with its strong vision that takes into account art works as much as production processes and artists.
