Since its inception in 2017 , Mono Gallery has been committed to encouraging public engagement and appreciation for Modern & Contemporary art within Saudi Arabia. Founded by Art collector & enthusiast, Momen Al Muslimani, the gallery has gained wide recognition in the local cultural landscape as a one of the pioneers in promoting creative dialogue and exchange between local and regional artists.
Through its robust exhibition program, and art fair participation, the gallery seeks to highlight the rich history of Saudi fine art and ensure its continuity, while shedding the spotlight on emerging artistic movements and artists.
In the four years since its establishment, the gallery has held 7 group exhibitions, most notably its inaugural show “Decades” representing 19 pioneering Saudi artists whose work set in motion the contemporary art movement in the Kingdom. In addition to 4 Solo exhibitions , 5 private collection shows, participations in international art fairs, and off-site projects with curators, collectors, and institutions.
The gallery recently moved to a 5000 sq. ft. space near Ad-Diriyah – the recently developed cultural and creative district in Riyadh, KSA
