Sevil Dolmaci Gallery, founded by art historian Sevil Dolmaci, opened its doors in 2017 with exhibitions by internationally renowned artists Rafael Gomez Barros and Loris Cecchini. In 2020, the gallery relocated to its current space in Istanbul, Villa Ipranosyan. The Ipranosyan Building, a second-degree historical monument, houses a five-storey exhibition area, a terrace with views of the Bosphorus, a garden, and a dedicated venue for pop-up exhibitions. Since its inception, the gallery has worked with leading curators, expanded its roster of artists, and hosted significant exhibitions and projects showcasing both established and emerging talents from around the world.   In 2023, Sevil Dolmaci expanded her vision with the opening of a second gallery in Dubai. Situated in the heart of the Dubai Design District, Sevil Dolmaci Dubai was created to nurture a rich and sophisticated art scene for the city’s diverse and dynamic population, while offering unparalleled access to the international art market. The gallery is committed to making a meaningful impact on Dubai’s vibrant cultural landscape, with a comprehensive programme of exhibitions featuring works by internationally recognised artists, many of whom have made substantial contributions to the history of art.   Sevil Dolmaci Istanbul|Dubai has hosted exhibitions featuring a range of prominent artists, including Ahmet Oran, Bosco Sodi, Cody Choi, Daniel Knorr, David Salle, Ekrem Yalcindag, Haluk Akakce, Robert Janitz, and Ross Bleckner. In the latter part of 2024, the gallery will participate in the Art Cologne and Art Abu Dhabi fairs, as well as host exhibitions featuring significant artists such as Beverly Fishman and Peter Halley.
