Born in 2010 in Casablanca from a meeting between two art lovers, Fihr Kettani and Mohammed Chaoui El Faiz, La Galerie 38 is historically located in the heart of the Studio des Arts Vivants, a cultural and artistic centre which also houses the School of Performing Arts and a professional theatre.   Initially working to promote contemporary art in Casablanca, it is now in Marrakech that La Galerie 38 continues this work. A second space opened its doors in an ideal location in the heart of the Guéliz district where history and modernism coexist. Functioning as a space where renowned artists are highlighted, the gallery is also an incubator for emerging talents, offering them a space for unlimited expression and creativity. It invites reflection and contemplation, both through its in-situ programming and through its participation in major international art fairs. La Galerie 38 believes that art is the best way to bring together women and men from all over the world, and so is committed to contributing to the writing of artistic modernity in Morocco and beyond.
