Karpuchina Gallery, a relatively young and progressive contemporary art gallery in Prague, has gradually made its mark on the Czech art scene since its establishment in 2016. The gallery showcases a diverse and carefully curated programme of works by both Czech and international artists, always exploring innovative language and current contexts. The focus is primarily on fostering a dialogue between the viewer and the artwork, with the aim of continuously strengthening the public’s engagement with contemporary art. The gallery’s main exhibition space, spanning 260 m², is situated in the heart of the city on Rybná Street. Reflecting its location within a historic building that was once a fish market, the gallery has adopted a fish as its logo.
