Turin, Italy
Founded in 1999 in Turin, Galleria Franco Noero has consistently distinguished itself through bold and significant exhibition projects produced in collaboration with its artists. These have encompassed a diverse range of artistic practices, with a particular emphasis on conceptual approaches and the radical nature of research. Over the years, the programme has undergone continuous evolution and growth, relocating to eight different spaces within the city. Each relocation has addressed various architectural and design requirements, allowing artists the freedom to create distinct environments for their projects.
Since 2013, the gallery’s activities have been centred at Via Mottalciata 10/B, located on the northern side of Turin. This flexible and spacious venue was further enhanced in September 2020 with the addition of a 1,000 square metre open-air area and a garden just a short distance away. In addition to organising exhibitions within its own spaces and participating in major international art fairs, the gallery collaborates with leading Italian and international institutions. It actively promotes the publication of books and supports the production of works and projects by its represented artists.
