The Comptoir des Mines Galerie is a contemporary art space that was established in 2016 in Marrakech, Morocco. Part of the architectural heritage of the city, the building the gallery is housed in today was built in 1932, but has recently been renovated to accommodate exhibitions, art projects, artists residencies and workshops. It offers a hybrid space – existing somewhere on the spectrum between a museum and an art gallery – and allows for extraordinary artistic experiences for visitors and artists alike.
The Comptoir des Mines Galerie supports a breadth of artistic talents and aims to enrich their artistic production – whether in an intellectual or technical manner – to produce pioneering exhibitions and artistic projects that mark new histories of art in Morocco.
