Meet Bashar Khalaf

Bashar Khalaf is a Palestinian artist, born in Ramallah in 1991. He still resides in Ramallah today. In 2014, Bashar was shortlisted for the 8th Young Artist of the Year Award (YAYA), by Al Qattan Foundation, where he was awarded his first prize for his work “Shadow of the Shadow”. Additionally, his work has been shown in a range of group exhibitions including ‘Perspectives’ at Zawyeh Gallery, Ramallah (2015); the opening exhibition at Gallery One, Ramallah, (2015) and ‘Suspended Accounts’ at Mosaic Rooms, London (2016).
