Art Dubai 2021: UAE Art Ecology Synergies

Coming together as a community of cultural leaders across the UAE, at a momentous time faced by a vibrant and dynamic local art ecology, Art Dubai 2021 will inaugurate new programmes in partnership and close collaboration with institutions that are the heartbeat of artistic production in the UAE.

In development are programmes in synergy with key institutions and partners across the UAE, including an expanded Invited Curators Programme in partnership with the Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai and the Sharjah Art Foundation in Sharjah, as well as a new exhibition platform tracing common threads across local artistic practices in collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Warehouse421, supported by the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation in Abu Dhabi.

With the anticipation of a renewed art season in the coming year, coinciding with the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations of the country’s 50th anniversary, such cultural partnerships aim to reflect the unique qualities of the milieu Art Dubai takes place in: Ambitiously international, culturally dynamic and forward looking. More information about specific programmes to follow soon.
