Telecommunications

Dubai’s telecommunications industry is operated by two main companies: Etisalat and Du. Both offer special mobile phone packages for visitors.

To obtain a sim card, visitors will need to present a valid form of identification. These cards are easily available for purchase in shopping malls and airports.

Voltage is at 220-240 and 50 cycles.

Most hotel rooms and homes use a three rectangular pins that is also used in the United Kingdom. Nonetheless, it is recommended to bring an adaptor to avoid any potential delays with accessibility.
