Regis Krampf relocated his New York gallery from New York City to Istanbul, Turkey in 2012. The gallery first opened its doors on the prestigious 26th street in Chelsea in 2005. The gallery focus has always been on international cultural exchange specializing in the first part on Asian contemporary art. It gave, for example, the Gao Brothers their first New York solo show, it also worked early on with Li Wei, Liu Bolin, Ma Jun, Huang Min and he Yunchang to name a few.
