INTERNSHIPS 2017

Art Dubai’s Internship Programme was initiated in September 2007. Since then over 400 students and recent graduates from 40 nationalities and 20 educational institutions have participated in the scheme and gone on to find further work experience opportunities and permanent placements within Art Dubai and its extensive network of partner organisations.

The below opportunities are only available for those based in the UAE. Exceptions to this can be considered if the applicant has scholarship funding available to cover their travel, visa and accommodation in Dubai.

TRAINEESHIPS

Traineeships at Art Dubai are aimed at young professionals who have completed internships within the art world, or for those who have experience in other fields and are looking to make a switch to the art world. This unique opportunity gives 4-5 exceptional individuals the opportunity to gain real hands-on experience working alongside the Art Dubai team, and to take on areas of responsibility through the 4-month period in the lead-up to the fair. The role also includes regular meetings and mentoring by senior members of the Art Dubai team. One third of the interns have been Emirati and the remaining came from countries from across the Arab world as well as Iran, India, Peru, Russia, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, among other countries.

Art Dubai has fostered close relationships with all major arts faculties in the UAE and abroad. The application process for the Traineeship Programme is open to students and alumni interested in art and design.

Traineeship positions for Art Dubai 2018 will be announced in September 2017.
