Since its establishment, the gallery’s main focus has been on painting, introducing artists and exhibiting artworks with a modernist approach. The gallery organized a project called “Reinterpreting Iranian Modern Art.” With this project, the gallery tries to introduce progressive, influential artists in Iranian art scene, through exhibitions, publications, interviews, and reviews featuring their artistic process and developments. Thus far in the project, exhibitions by Sirak Melkonian, Bahman Mohasses, Behdjat Sadr and Garnik Der Hacopian, have been held, and the upcoming program will focus on the works of Iranian-Armenian artist, Sonia Balassanian.
