Galleria Continua was founded in 1990 in San Gimignano. The gallery has built a strong identity in the past 20 years, maintaining continuity between generations and building artistic collaborations with established and emerging artists. In 2004 Galleria Continua was one of the first non-Chinese galleries to be established in China with the aim of promoting international contemporary art where it was primarily absent. In 2007, Galleria Continua inaugurated a new site for contemporary creation in the Parisian countryside, Le Moulin, to host projects and exhibitions of monumental art works by artists from the five continents.
