Disclaimer: Persons represented above may not actually be students of the School of Global Art nor share any affiliation or core values of the school’s ethics and intentions.

The School of Global Art was founded in 2012 by the artist collective LuckyPDF as an international learning and personal development program. It is the space for rapid exchange of ideas, a peer-to-peer learning environment that provides the network infrastructure for the development of contemporary Global Thought.

Since its introductory PowerPoint presentation at Art Dubai 2012, the School of Global Art has held recruitment, induction and learning events at the ICA in London and the Fierce Festival, Birmingham.

In May, 2012, the School of Global Art: Down Under set up a Global Outreach campus at Next Wave in Melbourne, Australia. SGA: DU brought together artists, writers, and academics from London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Tehran and Hong Kong for an intensive nine-day program that addressed such topics as teenage Tumblr Asks and the history of painting up to CS5, and proposed a discussion of the discussion of the Arab Spring. DIS magazine’s Art School issue provided a live platform for these events.
