Curator Leyla Fakhr
Leyla Fakhr works as a curator at Green Cardamom and an Assistant Curator for the Modern and Contemporary collection at Tate Britain.
In 2005 she worked in the department of International Relations at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. She then went on to obtain her MA in Curating at Goldsmiths College in 2006. She was chosen as one of ten curators by FIAC as part of the ICI (International Curators Invitational).
In 2007 she curated Nazgol Ansarinia’s exhibition Untitled (do not give your opinion) in Tehran. While working with Green Cardamom she has co-curated various shows including Mohammad Ali Talpur’s exhibition at gallery:space in Finsbury Park, London and Ali Kazim’s mid-career survey show at Cartwright Hall, Bradford.
