Biography:
I am self taught emerging artist currently residing in Dubai and specialising in acrylics and mixed media on canvas. I started to take my art seriously only quite recently and began to create my own art on canvas, gaining my inspiration from life\' experiences and observations. As a child, I have always had a passion for drawing and painting and the desire to create unique paintings that would stand apart from the rest in the class.
Professionally, My initial art works were along the abstract impressionistic style of sublime landscapes and figurative art. However since, it has evolved dramatically and very much now along the abstract expressionisms of the Soul, that has a purpose and deeper meaning to convey to every viewer. I do work alongside a few interior decorators on special painting commissioning projects locally, display my work at a couple of art galleries and participate on a regular basis in many collective group exhibitions around the city of Dubai - UAE. .You can veiw my work at FanArtReview.com under the name of Brushstrokes.

Statement:
In the business of creativity and ideas, the only currency is ''positive energy' - which is the philosophy I have carried through in my artwork. I like my art to have a deeper meaning and leave a positive aura -wherever it is displayed, leaving the viewer energized.
Like a unique journey - I like to experiment and try out new techniques and textures, all hedging around the earthy warm tones of colour - as I do believe, they tend to evoke powerful emotions. I enjoy painting with vibrant colours of the pallette and like to incorporate a sense of positive energy into each of my creations. I want my art to be able to express in colour, what a thousand words put together cannot convey, engulfing the space with positive vibrations and get the imagination flowing.
My paintings, are meant to strike an instant relationship with the buyer/viewer - after all, it occupies a very personal space in the home/office and needs to infuse - not just color onto a bare wall, but needs to evoke vibrant energy and emotions, creating a dramatic difference !
Colour, forms and texture are as important, as the Title that goes with it - even before I have started to paint the first brushstroke on canvas.
